EK THA TIGER Is In Controversy As Its Plot Resembles A real Life Incidence

One more new release and one more new controversy as this has become the order of things these days in Bollywood. Even though Salman Khan's forthcoming film "Ek Tha Tiger" has been creating waves with its promos, all is not well with the film.

Vikram Vashishtha, who happens to be the nephew of real life spy (late) Ravindra Kaushik, has sent a legal notice to the production company (Yash Raj Films) asking for a special screening of "Ek Tha Tiger". The copies of the legal notice have also been sent to Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) and the Film & TV Producers Guild and Film Federation of India.

Talking about this issue, Vashishtha told a leading daily that (late) Ravindra Kaushik, his maternal uncle, who was with RAW (Research Analysis Wing), displayed his talent at the national level dramatic meet in Lucknow, which was also witnessed by some officials of the Intelligence Wing. He was then contacted and offered a job for the secret intelligence in Pakistan. Later, he was sent to Pakistan for the purpose.

Vashishtha also added that the promos of "Ek Tha Tiger" bore a striking resemblance to his uncle's experiences in Pakistan and hence his family has sought legal assistance to either have a look at the original script or view the film before it releases.

Meanwhile, Madhav Mitra, Vashishtha's counsel claims that the resemblance is on the account that the promos show that ISI (Pakistan agency) and RAW (Indian Agency) indulged in day-to-day war. He also added that the promos reveal that the agent named 'Tiger' worked in Pakistan and had an affair with a Pakistani girl, fought for the country as well as for his love. He reasoned out stating that since Shashi Vashishtha, the mother of his client Vikram is (late) Ravindra's only sister, the family has the full right to either go through the certified screenplay or watch it prior to national and international release.

Censor Forced Makers To Change Fakhru In KYAA SUPER KOOL HAIN To Shatru

So finally Censor Board had its say! The Censor Board has cleared Ekta Kapoor's new sex comedy with an 'A' certificate with 8-9 cuts. Wonder how our Shatrughan Sinha would react to this, but the dog in "Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum" has been rechristened Shatru instead of Fakhru, at the Censor Board's behest. It may seem super-cool to the makers of "Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum" (KSKHH) to name the canine in the film Fakhruddin or Fakhru, which happens to be the name of the former president of India. The censors disagree.

The Censor Board Of Film Certification (CBFS) has made it explicitly clear that any aspersion or slur or any caste community creed or individual would not be tolerated in the name of humour and comedy.

KSKHH has been ordered to change the canine's name. The film has also been asked to change some other offensive dialogues before being accorded an 'Adult' certificate. Says the CFBC's Regional Officer Mumbai J.P.Singh, "They've changed the dog's name from Fakhru to Shatru. Fakhru was not acceptable."

Elaborates J P Singh, "We cannot have puns that could offend any community or individual. For example in "Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum", someone enters the venue of a party looks around and quips, 'Saare Dandekar hain koi Holekar nahin.' Sorry, not allowed. Dadekar and Holekar are respected names."

KSKHH has also been asked to get rid of the word '
achhoot' (untouchable) being enunciated to sound like 'a-choot'.

Quips J .P.Singh, "The jokes are of the kind we've heard when we were in college. The film is carpeted with puns. We've only cut those that hurt any community or people. The word 'Ram' has also been cut. All the cuts are verbal. Visually we've blurred alcohol brands, etc."

Sequel Of NO ENTRY Will Have Salman Anil & Fardeen In Double Roles With 9 Heroines

This was the one comedy flick which was a huge hit at box office. Film did not only well in terms of collections but always garners good TRPs on satellite channels. Now the sequel of this film is ready to roll and this will be mother of all multi - starrers.

Finally, the sequel to "No Entry" will soon go on floors. According to writer-director Anees Bazmee, the script is locked and will feature Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor and Fardeen Khan (all in double roles) in the lead. And this film will have not one or two but nine leading ladies. According to Bazmee, shooting will start either by the end of the year or early next year.

It will be a multi - starrer for Salman Khan after long period of time.

Amole Gupte Revives SAPNO KE GINTE GINTE

Before "Stanley Ka Dabba", Amol Gupte wanted to make his directorial debut with "Sapno Ko Ginte Ginte", a children’s film with Salman Khan in a cameo. But due to unavoidable reasons, that project was put on the backburner as Khan was unavailable. Gupte then went on to make "Stanley Ka Dabba", which was appreciated by everyone.

Now, news is that Gupte is set to revive "Sapno Ko Ginte Ginte" and once again rope in his son, Partho Gupte, to play a key role. Partially confirming the news, Gupte said, “Yes, I will finish the script in a couple of weeks and start shooting during Diwali. But I haven’t yet decided on casting my son for this film too. The cast and credits will be finalised later.”

Pooja Bhatt Will Make JISM 3 In 3D

Her film "Jism 2" starring adult star Sunny Leone is yet a few days away from release but Pooja Bhatt is already busy thinking about "Jism 3" and that too with ambitious plans of making it in 3D.

Apparently Pooja already has the script of "Jism 3" in place and is tight-lipped about the cast as of now. However she is certain that it will be bigger, bolder and better than ever before. The film will go on floors sometime next year.

"Jism 2" meanwhile starring Sunny Leone along with Randeep Hooda and Arunoday Singh is slated to release on August 3.

Box Office Report Of Bollywood Of February Month

After mixed month of January where we saw blockbuster “Agneepath” but dismal “Players” too, February started with dismal note. “Gali Gali Chor Hai” failed miserably as script to star cast nothing worked for it.

Then came another anticipated film from Dharma Productions “Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu”. Though it generated mixed response but still it worked well with its target audience in multiplexes and that is why it went on to become a clean hit. It trended really well in 2nd week and handsome overseas collections gave the boost to total economics of the film. It was 4th consecutive hit for Imran Khan and Kareena too continued with her golden run at box office.

But after this small budget ventures like “?”, and “Married To America” sank without a trace as expected. “Ekk Deeawana Tha” was next awaited film starring Prateik and Amy Jackson studded with music of Rahman but it failed miserably due to poor performances and script. Director Govind Menon failed in his comeback venture.

Last week of month saw release of two light hearted love stories on same date – “Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya” and “Jodi Breakers”. As happens most of the times, one succeeded but other failed. TNLHG proved sleeper hit riding on word of mouth and small town appeal but “Jodi Breakers” crashed after decent start because of bad reviews and pathetic word of mouth.
